As part of their Silver Jubilee Celebrations, Don Bosco Higher Secondary, Panaji organised State level under-19 inter higher secondary boys football, under-19 inter higher secondary girls basketball and inter staff football tournaments.
The inaugural function was held on Nov 27 at the school grounds, with Bruno Coutinho in attendance as the chief guest. Fr Chrysologus D’Cunha SDB was the guest of honour. Fr Savio Gomes, Principal of the higher secondary welcomed the gathering.
The students of the institution presented colourful drills as they performed to the tunes of famous global sporting music. While declaring the event open, the chief guest encouraged the students and exhorted them to be passionately committed to sports training. Silver and golden balloons were released to mark the occasion. The tournaments are being coordinated by Jerson Colaco, PE Teacher of Don Bosco.
