Korean car maker Hyundai had unveiled the all new Creta at the recently concluded Auto Expo 2020 at New Delhi but only the exteriors were shown then. We were in Chennai visiting the Hyundai factory to checkout the SUV in flesh inside out and here’s our first look coming directly from where the car is built.

On the outside, the 2nd generation Hyundai Creta gets a completely new front design with the 3D cascading grille inspired from the Hyundai Palisade SUV along with larger LED headlamps and new boomerang-shaped DRLs. The bumpers have been beefed up with new skid larger plates and there are new 17-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels in place as well.

The car rear gets distinctively different design with the all LED taillights that looks very different from anything seen in the segment. The boot lid also gets a horizontal slim led stop lamp adding more style to it. The new Creta also has a visibly larger wheelbase that should be resulting in much larger interior space.

As mentioned the body style now gets a lot flexed and muscular in terms of styling making the Creta look like it’s just back from its gym workout regime. The top end version also comes with a panoramic electric sunroof adding to the feature list.

Coming to the interiors well that’s what was not seen so far. Step inside and you will instantly notice the super premium feel of the cabin area.

Apart from the all new dualtone dash that gets a faux hand stitching design on it the next thing you instantly notice is the voice activated panoramic electric sun roof that lets in more light making the cabin look lot more larger. The seats come with a dual tone black and greige colour with leatherette upholstery.
