The Goan Catholic Charitable Trust will organise a crib tour in South Goa on January 6, the three Kings feast, which marks the end of the Christmas season in the Catholic church.

The five hour tour, to be organised at a cost of Rs 650, includes a visit to four life-sized cribs at Agali, Arossim, Cansaulim (where the feast of the three kings is celebrated), and Consua, with a professional guide who will provide details and trivia about the villages and the cribs.

The tour will leave from the Heera Petrol pump in Panjim at 5:00 pm in a semi-luxury 30 seater bus. Places will be reserved on a first come first serve basis. The bus journey will include a Goan Antakshri, Bible housie and loads of happy surprises and prizes.

The crib viewing is likely to take around two hours from 6:00 to 8:00 pm. Following this, participants will be served Canacona-style chicken xacutti and kurkurit pao from a local bakery, along with packaged tender coconut water.

Adequate toilet stops have been arranged. The tour is open to people of all faiths. To register, contact: Ashton Souza (M) 08999962123.
