Goa is being predicted to witness freaky weather yet again for the next five days with the Met office reporting that light rain or thundershowers are very likely to occur at isolated places in both North and South Goa districts.

Through Monday morning meanwhile, the skies remained overcast but no rainfall was reported by the Met Office.

It however warned fishermen that squally weather with wind speeds reaching up to 65 kilometers per hour are very likely off the South Maharashtra and Goa coasts on Wednesday.

Unusual weather conditions, meanwhile continued to daunt residents in Goa on the first two days of December after the unusually warm November.

There is an “appreciable rise” in minimum temperatures in North Goa, the report released by the Met office said, adding that the lowest minimum temperature of 25.3 degrees Celsius was recorded at Mormugao.

The report also said that in the next 24 hours, temperatures would range between 25-30 degrees Celsius and that the skies, for the next two days, will remain cloudy and overcast.
