Saligão Institute is currently undergoing a revival and as a process this 90-year-old institute is organising its ‘Ladies’ Week’ from November 10-17. The events are open to all and programmes will start at 5 pm. On November 10 screening of Konkani film Nachom-ia Kumpasar will be at 6.30 pm. On November 11 there would be traditional games, Saligao in film and pics and Mando. On November 12 a mini market, ‘Made-in-Saligao’ will open from 3 pm. There would be a food contest and Yoga too. On November 13 there would be indoor games (Scrabble, Ludo, Chess, Carom, TT) and whist drive. On November 14 the institute will hold events like creative photography, careers for women and poetry recital. On November 15 there is Saligao quiz and dumb charades. On November 16 there is an event, ‘Make up for Teenagers’ and ‘Fashion with Ninoshka and Nakita’. On November 17 a showcasing of young musicians, barbecue will happen along with Singalong.
