St Michael’s Convent High School, Vagator won 10 medals in the North Goa District Karate Championship organised by Traditional Karate Assiciation of Goa and held on September 28 and 29 at SAG Indoor Stadium, Peddem. They won two gold, two silver and six bronze. Jeeya Agarwadekar won a double gold, silver was bagged by Sai Chodankar and Oscar D’Souza respectively. Piyush Dabholkar, Paul D’Souza, Jiya Ganeshe, Sai Chondankar, Tanisi Salgaonkar and Sarthak Kerkar picked up a bronze medal each. The karatekas also won bagged five medals -- three silver and two bronze - at the TKAG State Karate Championship 2019 held on October 5 and 6 at the same venue. Jeeya Agarwadekar pocketed two silvers while Piyush Dabholkar snapped one and Sai Chodankar secured two bronze medals.
