The shigmo parade in Mapusa will kick off from Rastroli, near Cine Alankar, Mapusa on March 24 even as the Mapusa Shigmotsav Mandal has prepared a variety of programme beginning from March 23.
“Rangostov” will be held on March 23 at the Mapusa taxi-stand from 6 pm onwards even as various entertainment programmes will be organized during the five-day festival which includes fancy dress contest, dance competition etc at the Mapusa taxi-stand.
The shigmo parade on March 24 will start from the Rashtroli near Alankar and proceed towards communidade ghor, old Asilo hospital and then straight along the Mapusa market road and end at the taxi-stand.
Gurudas Natekar will be the President of the Mapusa Shigmotsav Mandal.
