A decade of successfully organizing Semana da Cultura Indo Portuguesa (Goa) drew to a close with a celebratory evening ‘Noite de Encerramento’ at Cavelossim over an evening of delectable cuisine, dance and foot stomping music. With this grand finale, Semana da Cultura Indo Portuguesa (Goa) brought the curtains down on a decade long celebration of Indian and Portuguese culture. Dr António Chrystêllo Tavares, consul general of Portugal in Goa, Zita and Vivek Goenka along with the executive committee members graced the event which saw a large turn-out of people.

Chef Peter and Chef Mahesh put out a lavish menu which included a delicious selection of Goan, Portuguese and traditional Indian cuisine. A wonderful line-up of musicians performed through the evening which saw performances by Valentinos, Sonia Shirsat and Chantelle Gomes. The tenth edition of the Semana da Cultura Indo Portuguesa (Goa) saw a celebration of Indian and Portuguese culture including art, cinema, music, cuisine and more. The event is an effort to celebrate and appreciate the rich cultural flavours of the two nations.
