Spanda - A 10-day sound healing immersion into the forms of sound to awaken, move and heal with workshops in Dhrupad and Percussion, Nad Yoga, Body and Movement, Sound Healing, Crystal Frequency Healing, Gong Bath, Meditations and performances will be held between February 14-24 at Inner Temple, Moira.
Beginning on February 14, the opening ceremony will have Live humming installation at 5.30 pm and Chiara Dhrupad solo at 6.30 pm. The second day will begin with mantra chanting by Tapashi Devchoudhury at 10 am, interactive sound healing workshop with Himalayan bowls - Beatrix at 2 pm. Ranjit will be singing with children and parents between 4.30- 5.30 pm and will perform solo at 6.30 pm.
On 16 February, there will be music and sound energy: A vedic perspective by Karan Sajnani at 10 am - 4 pm. Stephen will perform at 4.305.30 pm and a spontaneous jam would follow with Anirudh, Karan Sajnani and Umesh at 6.30 pm.
On February 17 Umesh would conduct percussion workshop at 10 am, Karthik’s contact improvisation will be at 2 pm and sound circle by Isha at 4.30- 5.30 pm. Natalie Matos will have conscious voice concert at 6.30 pm.
On February 18, Andrea will conduct ‘Find your voice’ workshop at 10 am. Enthusiastic will learn Sacred Geometry and music theory with Ranjit at 2 pm. ‘Body and movement’ workshop with Karthik will be at 4.30-5.30 pm and Euphoric dance at 4.30 pm.
On February 19, Aurelio will perform ‘Nada Brahman: World is Sound’ between 10 am - 4 pm, Avatari - colour pattern and sounds play with natural dyes session is between 4.30-5.30 pm, Swaram jam by Goa Gang is at 6.30 pm.
On February 20, ‘Awakening the sacred voice’ (Dhrupad workshop) with Pandit Ritwik Sanyal at 4.30 am to noon and conversation with the masters Pandit Ritwik Sanyal and Aurelio at 2 pm and Stephen, Varun and Isha will have singing circle at 4.30- 5.30 pm. Crystal Frequency by Naida will be at 6.30 pm.
Awakening the Sacred Voice (Dhrupad workshop) by Pandit Ritwik Sanyal will be from 6.30 am to noon on February 21. Ankit Parikh’s workshop on Pakhawaj - Language of Rhythm is at 2 pm and Ankit’s kids’ percussion workshop is at 4.30- 5.30 pm. Sukanya will perform at 6.30 pm.
Joseph Schmidlin workshop ‘The Harmonic Spine’ will be at 10 am on February 22. Body workshop by Sumeet Thakur is at 2 pm and Sound stories with Isha and Stephen are at 4.30- 5.30 pm. Spontaneous performance by Marianit, Ko, Srinivas is at 6.30 pm.
On February 23, Joseph Schmidlin Homeopathic Sound is at 10 am, Antoine’s ‘Vocal A Cappella workshop’ is at 2 pm and ‘Sound Painting’ by Enith, Srini and Isha is at 4.30- 5.30 pm. Sito will perform at 6.30 pm.
February 24 will witness Sanj Hall Gong intensive at 10 am - 4 pm, Antoine Singing circle for kids is at 4.30- 5.30 pm and All Night Sound Journey by Sanj and Ewan A between 8 pm-6 am.
