Pegasus – imagine, create, inspire, the inter-collegiate English literature festival in Goa organized by the students of the department of English, Parvatibai Chowgule College of Arts and Science, autonomous, concluded its eleventhyear of competitions recently. The theme of the two day event was – Untamed - and revolved around all forms of adapted literature. The longest running English literary Festival in Goa also adapted itself this year by inviting non-literature students to enjoy literature in its most enjoyable form - through healthy competition. The two day programme covered the most intellectual to the wackiest of events testing skills in language, media and literature. The teams chose their team names from adapted literature as well as their beautiful mascots. The mascots enlivened the college atmosphere - from Hela, Queen of hearts (Alice in wonderland), Cruella de Vil, Medusa, to Jaffar, Wonder woman and Deadpool.
Pegasus Untamed was won by team Von Trapps - Goa University and runners-up were team Swami - Rosary College, Navelim, followed by team Supernatural - VM Salgaocar Institute of International Hospitality Education, team Archies - Dhempe college of Arts & Science, Team Mahabharata- M.E.S College, Vasco, Team Godfather - Don Bosco College, Panaji and team Hobbit-Govt. College, Sanquelim. Queen of Hearts and Hela were the best two cosplayers of the day winning the first and second place respectively.
