Unbeatable Dance Foundation Vasco in association with directorate of art and culture departments will be organising All Goa inter school special children dance event (Children below I Q 70) - Aaja Nachle 201. Speaking at a press conference, Tushar Volvoikar of Unbeatable Dance Foundation informed that the dance event ‘Aaja Nachle 2018’ will be held on December 17 at Ravindra Bhavan Margao, from 2pm onwards. Dance India Dance fame Kamlesh Patel will be the celebrity guest for the event to encourage the participants. Artist John D’silva will be present as the special guest. The event is a group dance competition where five school have registered for the same. This is the second edition organised with the aim to spread the magic of dance to the special children. The first edition was held at Rajiv Kala Bhavan, Ponda that saw the participation of four groups. The parents and schools lauded the efforts of the organizers for the initiative.
Speaking to TG Life, Tushar Volvoikar, said that he wants to have such programs once a year in all cities of Goa. After the first edition in Ponda, this time the venue has been moved to Margao and may be the next time in Panaji.
The winning groups will be given cash prizes along with momentos to the participants. The organisers take care of the travel and food of the participants. Volvoikar expressed concern that sponsors don’t come out heavily for such events unlike the regular dance competition. he also informed that many local talented dancers of repute from Goa will be attending the event to motivate the special children at the dance event.
