MARGAO
Darshan Gaonkar, Vinisha Gaude, Akash Bimbolkar, Anjali Velip, Akash Saroj and Rohini Gaonkar won in different categories at the All Goa road race organised by Master Samarth Sports & Social Foundation of Curchorem. The road race from Sanvordem bridge to Bagwada was held in under-14, under-18 and above-18 categories.
The first three rankers of the road race in all the categories were awarded prizes by Felix Fernandes, Chairperson of Curchorem-Cacora Municipal Council. Sujata Naik, Councilor; Devendra Vast and Tulshidas Naik were present for the prize distribution function. Piety Mascarenhas, masters international athlete, was felicitated on the occasion. Namrata Naik compered, Mukund Naik welcomed and John Fernandes proposed vote of thanks at the function.
