GoAir flight makes emergency landing at Dabolim airport

VASCO: A smoke alarm in the cargo section, forced a GoAir flight on Saturday to make an emergency landing at Dabolim International Airport. "A GoAir Goa-Delhi flight carrying 180 passengers flew from Dabolim International Airport on Saturday evening. However, after some time in mid air, an alarm for smoke from the cargo started to beep and the flight which took off from Dabolim at around 5.30 pm made an emergency landing after 45 minutes. A thorough inspection was conducted before the flight left for Delhi at around 12.30 am in the wee hours of Sunday morning," said a source.
