Damodar Higher Secondary School, Guddi, Paroda thumped Cuncolim United Higher School 3-0 to win the Zone IV Higher Secondary School, Football
Boys Championship organised by Directorate of Sports and Youth Affairs at Government Village School, Playground, Cuncolim on
Saturday.
Damodar Higher Secondary School dominated the match from the word
go and opened their
account in the fourth minute of play when Alviton Oliveira
beat the Cuncolim Goalkeeper with a neat placement.
Alviton Oliveira doubled
the lead in the 10th
minute of play when he
beat the Cuncolim
Goalkeeper with a powerful shot.
Alviton Oliveira registered his hat-trick in the 40 minute, when he beat an advancing goalkeeper to make it 3-0.
Ramlal Vernekar, Director of Sports, Cuncolim United College of Arts and Commerce was the chief guest and gave the certificate to the winning team.

welcomed and later proposed the vote of thanks. Motilal Gaonkar, TSO. Quepem and Prakash Velip, TSO, Canacona were also present.
The winners and runners up will now represent Zone IV at the Inter-zone to be held on October 16 at
Astroturf Fround, Fatorda.
