The 2nd Dr Filipe Pinto memorial all Goa major ranking table tennis tournament organised by Kabir Pinto Makhija in association with Clube Vasco Da Gama, Panaji concluded on September 23 at Clube Vasco da Gama.   

Former India cricket team captain, Mohammad Azharuddin was the chief guest. Azharuddin gave away the prizes and addressed the audience in his own peculiar style. Kabir Pinto Makhija delivered the welcome address and Soraya Pinto Makhija proposed the vote of thanks. Pauline Sousa, Vero Nunes, Tony Dias, Prem Makhija, Xacuntala Pinto Makhija and office bearers of Clube Vasco da Gama were also present.   

Final Results: Cadet Girls:Leoma Fernandes beat Trusha Hammanavar 6-11,11-6,11-7,11-9, Cadet Boys: Agustya Motwani beat Aaron Farias 11-6, 5-11,7-11,11-6,14-12, Sub Junior Girls: Sanisha Shetye beat Najida Sheikh 11-7,9-11,11-4,11-9, Sub Junior Boys: Nagesh Verenkar beat Anshuman Agarwal 11-7,11-6,11-7, Junior Girls: Prutha Parrikar beat Sneha Rane 11-6,13-11,11-4, Junior Boys: Anshuman Agarwal beat Santesh Mapsekar 11-6,11-5,11-7, Women: Mallika Gogoi beat Eleanor Do Rosario 11-8,11-7,12-10, Men: Dheeraj Rai beat Diljeet Velingkar 13-11,11-6,11-9,11-4.
