Patience of Goan electorate fast evaporating

It is the duty of each MLA however big or small to abide by the wishes of the electorate. Michael Lobo and Vijai Sardessai are two MLA’s, one a deputy Speaker and other the Town  & Country Planning Minister who are learning it the hard way that your voters won’t tolerate if the concerned electorate representative is acting against the interest of the electorate. While Michael Lobo has not been allowed to address the Calangute Gram Sabha which sent him a  strong message that he was not welcome to speak, and finally had to  walkout, Vijai has also been reined in by Fatordakars who seem to be  disenchanted with his style of functioning. The people of South Goa  are  die-hards who won’t tolerate being taken for a ride. In a  hastily-formed coalition, where several top brass are undergoing  treatment at various hospitals for their particular ailments, the  electorate have made it clear that enough is enough. A political  revolution is brewing at a time when Goa is in the grip of no governance  at all. The people are angry for having been taken for a ride. Their  patience is fast evaporating.
