PANAJI: Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar has informed the Goa State  Infrastructure Development Corporation that the third Mandovi bridge  will be inaugurated on December 19 this year, and has asked officials to  ensure that the contractor ensures that the bridge is ready before that  date.   Earlier in January, the Chief Minister had announced  that the Prime Minister has ‘in principle’ agreed to inaugurate the  third Mandovi Bridge, which he had laid the foundation for back in 2014.   Back then, the Chief Minister said he was sure that the  work of the bridge “expected to be completed only in July” and that the  inauguration would be held in August.
