In an absorbing finals witnessed by a large crowd, the teams went into the breather locked in a 1-1 draw. Rego, 1-0.

In the very next minute, Beneston combined with Stephen Satarkar and, on entering the penalty box, slammed the ball into the goal, 1-1.

On crossing over, in the 48th minute, Rossman extended their lead with their medio Remedious Vaz scoring from close quarters. In the 65th minute, Rossman would have drawn the curtains down for Calangute Association, but keeper Selwyn came with a brave save to thwart Jesley Moniz in a one-to-one

situation.
