Government reshuffles several senior bureaucrats

In a crucial reshuffle of senior-level bureaucrats, the state government has appointed IAS Officer Ravi Jha as Director of Environment. 
Srinet Kothwale will replace Jha as the Director of Information and Technology in addition to his current charges as the Managing Director of the Goa State Infrastructure Development Corporation, the CEO of IPFB, and MD of Information and Technology Goa (ITG). 
Parag Nagarcenkar who was the Director of Environment has been posted as the Director of the Goa Institute of Public Administration & Rural Development (GIPARD). 
Meghana Shetgaonkar holding additional charge as Director of GIPARD, in addition to her duties as Director (Admin) of Education Department has been relieved of her additional charge. 
Among other changes, Anthony D’Souza the Joint Secretary (Revenue) has been given additional charge as the Director of NRI Affairs while relieving Shyamsundar Parab who held charge as the Director of NRI Affairs in addition to his duties as Superintendent of Central Jail. Instead, Parab has been given additional charge as Joint Secretary (Housing) a charge which was held by D’Souza. 
Additionally, the government has also transferred Gopal Parsekar who was the Labour Commissioner as the Additional Collector (II) of North Goa and appointed Jayant Tari as the Labour Commissioner in addition to his duties as Secretary of the Goa Rehabilitation Board and Director (Admin) of Kala Academy. 
Two Junior Scale Officers Dipti Kankonkar and Deepesh Priolkar have also been transferred.
