Clube Recreativo e Cultural de Chinchinim will organise their first all-Goa CRC women’s football tournament on April 28 at CRC ground, Chinchinim, at 5 pm.
CRC Chinchinim president Cyril Leitao said: “It is our first time, organising the women’s football tournament. A lot of women’s football teams will take part. I hope that this tournament can inspire girls to be part of tournament in the coming years.”
The winners will receive Rs 30,000 while the runners-up will get Rs 20,000. Among those present at the briefing were Michele Castanha, international woman footballer; Arnaldo Costa, GFA Executive member; and Proto Rodrigues, secretary of CRC Chinchinim.
