Sangath, a Goa-based NGO, has been implementing the Chetana Community Wellness Programme in Canacona since January this year. This programme is one of the many initiatives launched by Sangath to commemorate twenty years of service in health care. Chetana is an effort to make basic mental healthcare available at the doorstep or closer to homes of people.

As a part of this program, Sangath is organizing a life skills building workshop – Towards a Bright Future for young people on March 23 and 24 at Avem, Cotigao. This workshop is open to young men and women in the age group of 18-30 years. It will cover communications skills, time management and money management skills, problem solving, emotional wellness and such other life skills that are useful to young people, through fun and games. The workshop will be conducted in Marathi and Konkani. Lunch and refreshments will be served on both days. There are only twenty five seats available and prior registration is mandatory.
