The Colva police have registered a non-congnizable case against former Nuvem MLA Mickky Pacheco following a complaint lodged by one Fanny Da Silva, a resident of Nagvaddo-Betalbatim.
Colva police station in-charge, PI Filomena Costa told The Goan that the Colva police have registered the non-cognizable case against Mickky on Sunday after the complainant alleged that the former MLA had damaged the parachute with his vehicle causing loss of Rs two lakh.
In her complaint, Fanny told the police that she runs water sports business at Gonsua-Betalbatim beach. She stated that the ex-MLA allegedly came in a white coloured vehicle on the beach and damaged her parachute.
The complainant further alleged that the accused abused her staff in filthy language when they questioned him over the incident.
PI Costa informed that a non-cognizable case has been registered against Mickky under section 427 and 504 of the IPC.
Meanwhile, the complainant has lodged another complaint with the Verna police in connection with the same incident. Verna police, however, said the matter is being investigated and action will be initiated after an inquiry.
