Parrikar stable and improving

PANAJI: The health of Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar is “stable and improving” according to South Goa Member of Parliament Narendra Sawaikar who is in touch with “sources from Lilavati Hospital at Mumbai.”
In a statement released to the media, Sawaikar said: “Manohar Parrikar is stable and is improving. The Doctors are constantly monitoring his health and that he is positively responding to the treatment. Let’s all continue to pray for his speedy recovery and long health.”
Earlier leader of the House and PWD Minister Ramkrishna “Sudin” Dhavalikar inadvertently confirmed that the chief minister will not be able to attend a meeting of mining stakeholder he had initially convened for February 24 and 25 but said that he will definitely return to hold the meeting with the stakeholders.
Dhavalikar was responding to the calling attention motion on the impending halting of mining operations in the state. However Dhavalikar didn’t specify when the meeting would take place.
The chief minister continues to be in the prayers of people with Panaji councillor Menino da Cruz announcing that he and well wishers from Mala offered a Mass for the recovery and health of Chief Minister of Goa and MLA Panaji Manohar Parrikar on Saturday 24th February, 2018 at 11.00am in Mary Immaculate Conception Church, Panaji.
In a separate statement, of Panaji Surendra Furtado wished g rapid and complete recovery of city MLA and and Goa CM Manohar Parrikar.
“I hope that Parrikar would be back to care for the city and the state and fulfill the expectations of people of Goa,” Furtado said adding that he has not allowed political rivalry or differences between them to affect their cordial and cultured relationship over the years.
