Gram sabha members also raised the issue of a mobile tower that has been erected in the village,
seeking to know from the sarpanch whether the tower was granted permission by the panchayat body.
While replying that the tower has come up sans the mandatory permission, Sarpanch Dias told the members that the panchayat has put up a notice on the tower asking the company to produce the necessary permissions before action is initiated by the body.
The gram sabha also gave its nod for the revision of house tax.
On the question of migrants, the gram sabha resolved to ask all landlords to apply to the police for verification of the tenants. It was also resolved to ask the landlords to make sanitation facility for the tenants.
Gram sabha members also demanded to know from the Sarpanch the status on major issues such as the incomplete work on NH-5, supply of muddy drinking water to the residents and
LED lights. When the sarpanch replied that the panchayat had submitted these issues to the local MLA with a plea to raise them in the Assembly, gram sabha members demanded that the panchayat write again to the MLA to raise these issues in the next session of the Legislative Assembly.
