Good response for Kundaim medical camp

About 300 villagers from Kundaim took benefit of the medical camp organized by Kundaim Panchayat and Rotary Club of Panaji in association with Healthway Hospital Pvt Ltd and Ophthalmic Department of Goa Medical College Bambolim.

The camp was organised at Government High School, Dasolwada-Kundaim. PWD Minister Sudin Dhavalikar was the chief guest, while Kundaim Sarpanch Ramu Naik, Babita Agrawal, Dr Virendra Gaonkar, Laxman Joshi and others were present on the occasion.
Speaking on the occasion, Dhavalikar commended the efforts of the organizers. "Many times patients hide their diseases and then it becomes tough for the doctors to diagnose it. We should give all details of our health to doctors, so we get correct diagnosis and treatment," Dhavalikar said.
He informed that Madhavrao Dhawlikar Trust Bandora has taken up charity through several such camps and identified
350 eye cataract patients, thereby treating them free of cost of eye ailments. He advised the people to avail maximum benefit of health-related camps.
In all, 325 patients from the locality were examined and treated by a team of doctors - Dr Sandesh Chodankar, Dr Pooja Talhaiarn, Dr Sabrina, Dr Udhav Parwar, Dr Dipika Kamat, Dr Bossuet Afonso, Dr Sambprasad Nadkarni, Dr Vijay Naik, Dr Dnyandeep Gaonkar, Dr Freston Sirur, Dr Virendra Gaonkar, Dr Swapnil Usgaonkar, Dr Shekhar Akarkar, Dr Sachin Dessai, Dr Sandhya Kadam, Dr Brenda Pinto, Dr Gokuldas Mangueshkar and Dr Vishwaraj Mhalshekar.
