McDonalds eyebrows
Sure, you may really love your McDonalds burgers and all but do you really need to show off your love for it through your..uh...eyebrows? Turns out some folks thought it was a great idea and tada some very odd looking McDonalds eyebrows began doing the rounds.
Dragon brows
What do you when you are done watching all episodes of Game of Thrones and don't know what to do with your life anymore. Bring out your inner dragon and proudly demonstrate it on your eyebrows. The trend is supposed to have been started by self-taught makeup artist @harlibi and features dramatic spikes that look similar to the spines running down a dragon's back.
Ponytail eyebrows
Well, apparently one dame got quite fed up of all these bizarre trends doing the rounds, so she decided to have some fun. Mary Jane, a talented make up artist decided to start her own fake beauty trend by photoshopping an image showing her brows sporting their very own ponytails. Amusing or not, some people thought it was way cool an idea to pass off, so they followed suit and decided to post their own version of ponytail eyebrows online.
Squiggly brows
People have really been into making their brows look as odd as possible. A number of beauty bloggers and vloggers were recently seen sporting squiggle brows online. And not just that they've been accentuating these with some brightly coloured makeup to make it look like a scene straight out of a horror movie. They create them by shaping the brows with washable glue rather than plucking hairs, so that once you've gotten over your fit of madness you can go back to your normal brows when you want to.
Squiggly lips
There used to be a time when people used to be all about getting that perfect pout. Now, it looks like some have decided to make their lips look as bizarre as possible. Following on the heels of the squiggly brows, some people who are completely in on these strange beauty crazes decided to give squiggly lips a chance. While many people used photoshop to get the edited look. There were may who put their makeup and concealer to use to actually create these. Not sure why.
Lollipop lips
We all hate having out perfectly applied lipstick get messed up after we grab a bite or drink. Turns out, we don't have to bother about fixing it after all because you have now automatically become a part of a new beauty craze doing the rounds called lollipop lips which involves purposely smudging your lipstick outside the lip line.
Hair nails
People haven't forgotten about their nails. In fact, instead of just concentrating on perhaps embelishing them with jewellery or doing some interesting art work with the help of brush and nail polish, South Korean illusion artist Dain Yoon decided to take things a little further and of course it went viral. While painting faces on nails, which is utterly creepy by the way, is not exactly a new trend, Yoon went a step further and also added hair to the mix.
Critter nail art
Maybe just adding jewellery and painting your nails in interesting designs is passe after all. If you're a complete bugs lover, this could be trend that you could try if you are up for it. Australia-based nail artist Nic Casati, who works at Deadly Beauty and Nails Studio in Melbourne is alleged to have been the brains behind creating the critter nail art. Here's how she goes about it. She lets customers bring in dead "critters" - everything from lady bugs to spiders to scorpions to tiny seahorses. She then surrounds the bug with glitter and a thick layer of acrylic to keep it from decomposing. And so you can carry your dead bugs wherever you go on your nails. Casati is said to have been inspired by women in Mexico who used scorpions as part of their nail art, she says in a video she posted on social media where she explained the look.
Nose hair extensions
While the sane people around would be trimming their nose hair if they have to, some bright people decided to add some fake eye lashes in their noses and apparently decided it looked great. Before you knew it, a bunch of other people were doing the same and celebrating their nose hair through cringeworthy posts on Instagram.
Fake freckles
Who cares if you weren't born with enough freckles. You can just add them in yourself. There are various techniques by which you can go about this. First is the brown product method. This involves you squeezing some brown product on to your hand and then using a brow brush with firm bristles to flick the product onto you cheecks and nose. You can then add some concealer on a sponge and blot out the darkness of the freckles. Another technique involves using a brown eyebrow pencil to draw random dots on your cheeks and nose and then using the concealer and sponge to blot out the darkness of the freckles. There are other ways to try it out too. Just get creative. (Agencies)
