No bulldozers will be run on Zuarinagar houses: Sudin

Says plans already made to provide each one with 50 sq mtrs house

PWD Minister Sudin Dhavalikar on Monday assured the residents of Zuarinagar that PWD will never run bulldozers on their houses like rumours suggest and plans are already made to provide each one with 50 sq mtrs house with one bedroom.
He was speaking on the sidelines of inauguration of two projects at Zorint Zuarinagar in Cortalim constituency.
One project of a 12-seater Sulabh Souchalaya complex and other project of 800 cum GLR and 650 cum OHR, conveying and distribution main and pumping station was inaugurated simultaneously by Dhavalikar in the presence of Cortalim MLA Alina Saldanha, Sancoale Sarpanch Girish Pillai, Cortalim BJP president Joel Fernandes and PWD officials. The CMO of Zuari Agro Chemicals and PRO were also present.
Speaking further, Dhavlikar said everyone should get a great environment and the present government was the people's government under Chief Minister Manohar
Parrikar.
"I will try to adopt the concept taken up at Durbhat in my constituency for Zuarinagar, where every house was provided with a toilet and a bathroom and all connections were then given to a small STP."
Dhavalikar also thanked Zuari Agro Chemicals Ltd for providing the space for this project and said ZACL had come up during the MGP regime along with other plants that employs over 4,000 Goan locals.
Speaking on the occasion, MLA Saldanha said the Sulabh Souchalaya project was constructed at a cost of about Rs 24 lakh and the project of 800 cum GLR and 650 cum OHR, conveying and distribution main and pumping station is about Rs 2 crore.
She also appealed to the people to maintain cleanliness and assured to take up all the issues plaguing the constituency and said many more prestigious projects will soon see light of the day.
Speaking on the occasion, Sancoale Sarpanch Pillai thanked Alina and also appealed to the people not to believe rumours spread by opposition that their houses will be demolished soon.
