Naitemb Cross Boys triumph

Naitemb Cross Boys of Matimorod defeated Naughty Boys of Padribhatt via a tie-breaker to win St Jose de Areal Inter-ward football tournament, organised by Naughty Boys of Padribhatt, at Padribhatt ground.

Before the final, an exhibition match was played between Ambelim Youth Girls and Curtorim Youth Girls. Ambelim Youth Girls won via tie-breaker as the match ended 1-1 at full time.
Same was the result of the final as the teams were tied 1-1 at full time. The first goal of the final was scored by Redando Vales of Naitemb Cross Boys in the first half. Ricardo Carvalho netted the equaliser for Naughty Boys of Padribhatt. Clafacio Dias, MLA of Cuncolim Constituency, gave away the winners and runners-up trophies. Naitemb Cross Boys were richer by Rs 17,000 while Naughty Boys won Rs 13,000.
