Anura lost 10-21, 13-21 to India international player Ruthvika Shivani Gadde. This is the first time a Goan player has won a silver medal in women's singles category at an All India Ranking tourney. Earlier this season, Anura -- a brand ambassador of Geno Pharmaceuticals Ltd. -- had created history by becoming the first Goan to win a gold in Senior All India Women's Doubles and silver in singles at an International Ranking event. Anura is ranked No 7 in women's singles in India.
Anura will next participate at the Vietnam International Open to be held in September, later in the year.
