Akbar Mulla joins Goa Forward

Quits Goa Pradesh Congress after 40 years, promises support to BJP in the by-election

Goa Pradesh Congress Vice President Akbar Mulla joined the Goa Forward on Sunday. "I was with the Congress for the last 40 years. The party has no change of leaders and the minorities are approached only at the time of elections, otherwise we are sidetracked." state Mullah accusing the Congress party. Speaking to the media persons, he appealed to the minority voters in Panaji and Valpoi to support the BJP in the upcoming by-elections.
Welcoming Mullah in the party, Goa Forward president Vijay Sardesai called Congress party a Private Limited Company which has been deserted by people now and urged the people in Panaji and Valpoi to support Parrikar and Vishwajeet Rane in the upcoming elections.
