Goa Food & Hospitality Expo gets underway

The 5th edition of the Goa Food & Hospitality Expo,Goa's biggest exhibition on hotel & restaurant equipment and supplies which is currently going on at the air conditioned Dr Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Stadium, Bambolim, organised by Media Promotions Pvt Ltd, will be open till, August 19, from 10.30 am to 7 pm.

Goa Food & Hospitality  Expo gets underway

The exhibition, one of the biggest in the country is showcasing their brands for the first time in India.
The expo was inaugurated by the Chief Guest, Goa Governor Dr Mridula Sinha, in the presence of President of Travel & Tourism Association of Goa Savio Messias, President of Goa Hospitality & Restaurant Association Gaurish Dhond, President of SKAL International Goa - Menino Proenca, President of Culinary Forum of Goa - Ranjeet Pandey, CEO of Goa Recreational Clubs Pvt Ltd - Atul Kokas and Directors of Media Promotions Pvt Ltd Kedar Dhume and Clive Sequeira.
Addressing the media, the governor opined that Goa being one of the country's premium tourism destination, exhibitions such as these promote hospitality and tourism trade. Although the state is small in size, it's very vibrant. She further added, "I am particularly impressed to see national and international brands participating in this exhibition. Goa is a preferred destination for national level seminars and high-end weddings, with exhibitions of such magnitude the state can also become a preferred location for exhibitions."
After the inauguration, the guests went around the stalls and expressed keen interest in the exhibits.
Speaking about the Goa Food & Hospitality Expo, Director, Media Promotions Pvt Ltd. Clive Sequeira, said, "People in the business of running of a resort, hotel, restaurant, quick service restaurants, spa, salon, casino, cafe, bakery, fast food joint, pub, club, shack, catering business or anything similar, should take advantage
of this exhibition."


The Goa Food & Hospitality Expo has been scheduled this month, as during this time most of the hotels take up renovation activities besides gearing up for the season."
