An English major student, Wendy credits the stage at Xavier's for encouraging her. "It was at Xavier's that I realised that I would want to entertain an audience someday," she disclosed. On August 7, Succorine regaled the packed hall of students for over an hour. She then shared her journey and the lessons she has learned along the way.
The audience was moved to laughter as well as drew inspiration from the power-packed interactive session with the stand-up comedienne.
Principal Fr. (Dr.) Jeronimo D'Silva welcomed Wendy Zuzarte. He appreciated her ability to cheer people up and encouraged students to draw inspiration from her.
The principal presented Wendy with a memento - a plaque of the iconic college Mercedes Benz bus of the yesteryears which she was delighted to receive.
The event was organised by the students of the Communication Club of the college and convenors Dr. Prema Rocha and Nitin Volvoikar, in collaboration with the Department of English. Lynessa Linson compered the programme.
