Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar on Wednesday sought to alleviate anxiety in the minds of people about the ongoing saga of desecration of religious structures in the State.

"Police have got a definite clue about what has happened and within three to four days, they will arrest the culprit," he told the House in reference to the Marcaim crosses desecration.
The CM did not rule out suspicions of a political angle to these incidents. "It's a bad incident. No one can guarantee that Francis Pereira's arrest hasn't inspired other offenders," he said.
