PORVORIM:
Speaking to media persons, Sopte said he personally knew the deceased police constable Kishor Shirodkar.
"He was married and has two children. He was working in the prison at Colvale. He was a nice person and did not have any vices," said Sopte.
"Since beer bottles were found at the spot, it is evident some one was with him and the bruises on his face forces one to assume that it can be case of murder," said Sopte and requested the police to investigate the case thoroughly and arrest the culprit as early as possible, if it is a
murder case.
"I will also place the matter before the House in the ongoing assembly session and request Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar to look into the matter," said Sopte.
