The hearing aids were distributed to the students by in-charge of Mumbai circle of State Bank of India, Dipankar Bos at a function organised at Sanjay School.
Speaking on the occasion, Bos said special children are part of society and they have every right to live like normal children.
“These children need special care and it is the duty of each and every citizen to look after their welfare. The major challenge facing the students with hearing impairments is communication. They cannot communicate because they can’t hear. To enable these students to hear and communicate better, hearing aids are being given to the students,” said Bos.
Chairman of Sanjay Centre Guruprasad Pawaskar thanked the State Bank of India for donating hearing aids to the special students.
