Leticia Maria Miranda has been elected unopposed for the reserved ward No III of Betalbatim panchayat which goes to the polls on July 1 along with the Kirbhat ward of Nuvem Panchayat. Returning Officer Vishal Kundaikar told The Goan that his office will hand over the election certificate to Leticia as she was declared elected unopposed.
