Anura Prabhu Desai of Goa who is the brand ambassador of Geno Pharmaceuticals Ltd. won the Silver medal and prize money of 440$ in the women’s senior singles at the Mauritius International 2017 held recently.

In the quarters, she won against Fathimath Nabaaha Abdul Razzaq of Maldives 21-6, 21-14.
In the semi-finals, she put it across Grace King of England 21-10, 21-4. In the finals she went down fighting against Shikha
Gautam of India 21-8, 17-21,
21-19.
