Upon conclusion of the process of nominations on Thursday, a total of 7,647 nominations have been received by the State Election Commission since May 18 for the upcoming polls to 186 panchayats.
PANAJI: Of these, 3,940 nominations were field from five talukas of North Goa and 3,707 were filed from the seven talukas of South Goa. The scrutiny of the nominations will be held on May 26 and 27, followed by withdrawal on May 29.
