Vipassana meditation
Goa Vipassana Trust will organise its weekly, one-day Vipassana meditation course on May 21, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Queen Laura, opp. Patrao Plaza, next to Axle Height, Alto Porvorim, Goa. The Junior batch (10-13 years) will be held every Friday while the Advanced batch (13-18 years) will be held every Saturday. In Stages- A Theatre company for young adults will have classes from age group 12-16 years every Saturday

Jumble sale   
The Women’s Forum, YMCA, Panaji, will be organizing their annual Monsoon Magic sale in June 2017. Proceeds from the sale will be utilized for their ongoing social service project Adoption from a Distance. Donations are invited in the form of clean, wearable clothes, books, toys and household items in working condition that can be dropped off at the YMCA from Monday to Saturday between 10 am and 5 pm.

MAY 22 
Novenas
The annual novenas for the feast of Our Lady of Three Necessities will begin from May 22 at Se Catheral Church, Old Goa. The novena mass with salve will be held at 4 pm preceded by rosary at 3.30 pm. There will also be a mass with novena prayers in the morning at 7.30 am. The feast will be celebrated on May 31 with mass in the morning at 7.30 am and solemn feast mass and procession at 4 pm. 

Watercolour art 
Exhibition of watercolour paintings by Goan artists will be held on May 22 to May 24 at Kala Academy, Art Gallery from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. The artist include: Girish Gujar, Kalidas K Satardekar, Govind Silimkhann, Basil Mora, Darshan D Shetye, Omkar S Sirsat, Ramchandra A Shet Narvekar, Omkar Banaule and Saish Parab.
