Bad Boys were set an imposing target of 164 after Maayem posted 164 in 16 overs. Bad Boys made a terrible start in their chase as they slumped to 26/ 6 in eight overs. Opener Tushar Sawant was removed on the first ball for a duck while Santosh Sawant followed him in the hunt without troubling the scorers.
But after the miserable start, Sagar Sawant (67, 30b, 7x4s, 5x4s) and Nandesh Khalap (51, 17b, 4x4s, 14x6s) combined to blitz their way through the target, while Sandesh Dessai (23, 5b) played the finisher’s job to perfection to take their team home. With 10 needed off the last over, Nandesh hammered a four and a sixer off successive boundaries to seal the win in style.
Earlier, Mayem chose to bat first and built their total around the scores of Mayur (55 off 24), Sagar Kadbotkar (42 off 32) and Vishal (44 off 24). For Bad Boys, Dinesh Parsekar claimed 2 for 22, while Shaikesh Dessai sclped one for 25.
