At any of the career fairs that take place in the month of April, chances are high that there will be a number of students who will seek information about new professional career options. With more and more students taking up career options like photography or event management, the days when a majority of the students simply chose engineering or medicine as their options are over. Parents used to tread with caution earlier but today, youngesters are getting the kind of encouragement and support they need to take up jobs. From a magician to DJ a social media advertising to wildlife tourism to a Zumba instructor, Goans are excelling in these new fields. Many of them prefer the freedom where they can make their own choices and work at their own timings.. At a time when unemployment rate among the youth is at a high, Goans have chosen to follow their dreams and make it big in their own right.
