Two luxury cruise liners called at Mormugao port on March 16. MV Costa Neo Classica arrived from Colombo, Sri Lanka with 1208 tourists and 585 crew members, and MV Aida Aura arrived from New Mangalore Port with 1215 tourists and 402 crew members. The cruise liners sailed to Mumbai and Muscat, Oman respectively, later that same day.

The shore travel arrangements and ground handling for excursions and sight-seeing were undertaken by M/s India Travel Bureau for both the cruise liners.The guests visited places of tourists interests like spice farms, Old Goa heritage site, Panaji, temples and churches and beaches along North and South Goa.
The two cruise liners brought passengers from Italy, France, Germany, UK, Bulgaria, Holland, Indonesia as well as India and other countries.
M/s JM Baxi & Co were the shipping agents for both the cruise liners. The visiting tourists availed the services of the Pre-Paid Taxi counter at the terminal besides luxury coaches.
This is the sixth time this season that the port is hosting two cruise liners on a day.
