2nd Div: Velsao drub Dabolim 8-0

Velsao Sports and Cultural club hammered Dabolim United SC 8-0 in the GFA Second Division League Mormugao Zone match at Velsao grounds on Friday.

The highlight of the day were a brilliant brace each by Francis Monteiro and Richard Rodrigues. 
Velsao dominated  the game right from the word go and never allowed their opponents to strike rhythm.
Roniil Azavedo broke the deadlock in the very 2nd minute of the game. 
Spurred by the early success, Velsao intensified their attacks and in the 35th minute Francis Monteiro added his name on the scorers’ list. 
Two minutes later, Richard Rodrigues inflated the tally in the 38th minute. Earlier, Yogesh  Teodosio  got his name on the scorers’ chart the 61st minute. 
Post resumption, Velsao  intensified their attacks and  in the 48th minute, Richard Rodrigues struck a second time to register his brace. 
In the 63rd minute, Francis Monteiro scored a brace Later, Amey Barad drove the last nail into rival’s coffin in the 83rd minute to complete the rout.
