Bjp final list likely today

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is likely to officially announce its final list of candidates for the upcoming State Legislative Assembly polls on Thursday.

The meeting of the BJP’s Parliamentary Board was held in Delhi on Wednesday which was attended by Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar, Chief Minister Laxmikant Parsekar and State BJP President Vinay Tendulkar, among others.
It has been learnt that the Board has cleared candidature of 19 sitting MLAs for upcoming polls and the list is expected to be announced from Delhi on Thursday morning.


Gadkari to meet party candidates   
Ahead of the Goa assembly polls, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Goa election in-charge Nitin Gadkari will address candidates and party workers on Thursday.   
Speaking to The Goan, BJP General Secretary Sadanand Shet Tanawade said, “Gadkari will meet our candidates who will be contesting the upcoming polls, at 12 pm in Panaji on Thursday. Thereafter, in the evening, he will address Party’s State Executive Committee and a few main party members at Gomantak Maratha Samaj Hall in Panaji.”
