Entrepreneur Vrushali Khadse and android app developer Prayjot Mainkar have come together to launch Goa’s first multi-shopping mobile app called ‘PickMyCart’. The app will be functional from May 21st and to start with it will allow users to buy laundry services.

The USP of 'PickMyCart' is that it acts as one platform for common shopping of things such as groceries, laundry services and cylinders. This is quite different from other apps, which allow you to buy only one item like, for example, groceries.

Khadse said, “Within one month, users will be able to even buy groceries through our app”.

Khadse said that the idea behind the app was to help families in taking care of their daily chores by not spending much time. The app has been designed by Mainkar from Androcid Media. Mainkar is one of the famous names in mobile app development in Goa.

Explaining the concept behind the app, Mainkar said, “This app is actually a market-place. If you are a vendor and you would like to reach customers, you can simply register with us. As a user, when you login to the app, it gives you several options in terms of various laundry service providers, grocery stores etc. to choose from”

Mainkar even informed that as of now the app has been launched only for Android platform, but very soon it will be launched for iOS platform as well. The minimum value of transaction that you can make through PickMyCart is Rs 200.

Mainkar said, “The pricing is done judiciously. The price for ironing one shirt is Rs 10, which is less than what some premium laundry service providers ask for”

Khadse added, “We will be kicking off the first phase by catering to the population of Panaji and surrounding areas of Dona Paula, Caranzalem, Taleigao, Altinho, Bambolim, St.Cruz and Merces. In the next quarter, we plan to include the towns of Margao, Vasco, Ponda, Porvorim, Mapusa and surrounding locations. Eventually by the third quarter, we plan to cover other regions of the state”
