Goa-based Archana to represent India at Mrs Universe

PANAJI: Goa-based Archana Nagbhushan has been selected to represent India at the Mrs Universe pageant to be held in August in 2016.
Nagbhushan, who was born and brought up in Bangalore, but has settled in Goa after marrying a Russian, emerged a winner among 40 finalist from around India with the grand finale being held in the capital on February 12.
“Nagbhushan a contestant from Goa was among top 18 and then made it to top 5 and finally she was crowned as Mrs India 2016. Now Archana will be representing India in Mrs Universe, International Beauty Pageant,” a statement released by her team has said.
Archana Nagbhushan was born in South India in Bangalore and spent her early happy childhood in Bangalore. At the age of 19 she was discovered by a Bangalore Modelling Agency in a coffee shop, her first Modelling Contract began, soon she was sent to Miss Bangalore beauty pageant, where she was in top 3.
Archana Nagbhushan’s visited Goa in 2006 and it had a huge impact on her life. Later after some years Archana married a Russian man Alexander from Moscow. Their marriage was registered on 9 June 2009 in the district of Kullu in the Himalayas.
Archana’s husband Alexander is a famous Russian writer and businessman. For the beauty of the heart, Indian people gave the name of Alexander Maharaja and his wife Archana - Maharani. (Maharaja and Maharani) Alexander and Archana live in the Indian state of Goa and travel around the world.
